This site is to share information for transcription of documents for the Citizen Archivist Project, Singapore.
For a start, it will contain contents from the “Guide to Transcribing Straits Settlements Records” produced by the National Archives. Hopefully this will be augmented by contributions from the citizen archivists out there such as Sharon Chong, Vandana Aggarwal, Gary Chow, Diane Leong, Ho Chak Loon, Fong Poh San, Edward Richard Hale etc. And, they could share their experiences, if possible.
This site is still under construction.
If you have any comments, feedback, contributions etc., you can fill in the “Leave a Reply” box at the bottom of the relevant page. Alternatively, you can email lymguest@gmail.com.
